Commercial Architecture

The project presents a contemporary headquarters building defined by a large, expressive timber roof that hovers above a transparent glass volume. The architecture emphasizes openness, lightness, and connection to landscape. A grid of slender steel columns supports an expansive wooden canopy, creating a shaded transitional space between interior and exterior. The façade is composed of modular glass volumes that reveal the internal workspace, encouraging transparency and collaboration. The building sits gently within a green park-like setting, with stepped plazas and soft landscape integration reinforcing its public and accessible character.

Challenge

The main challenge was to design a headquarters that communicates innovation and technological precision while remaining human-centered and environmentally responsible. Key difficulties included: - Creating a strong architectural identity without relying on height or monumentality. - Integrating a large-span roof structure while maintaining visual lightness. - Balancing transparency with solar control and thermal performance. - Designing a flexible interior layout that could evolve with the company’s growth.

Objective

The objective was to create a workplace that fosters collaboration, creativity, and well-being. The design aimed to blur the boundary between interior and exterior by extending the roof beyond the glass enclosure, forming sheltered outdoor work and meeting zones. Sustainability played a central role: the timber canopy reduces solar gain, enhances natural shading, and symbolizes environmental commitment. The modular façade system ensures adaptability, while the open-plan interior supports cross-disciplinary interaction.

Results

The final design delivers a horizontally expressive landmark that feels transparent, welcoming, and structurally refined. The timber roof becomes both an environmental device and an architectural signature. The headquarters achieves a balance between technological clarity and natural warmth, presenting the company as forward-thinking yet grounded in sustainable values. The result is a flexible, daylight-filled workspace embedded harmoniously within its landscape context.
